On Sunday 17 Feb 2008, in Parco della Caffarella, Rome, Italy, there will be a orienteering meet beginning at 10 AM, organized by the Orsa Maggiore orienteering club. Orienteering is a land navigation activity where one finds flags using a map and compass. About 2 km south of the event, there is a geocache. It is a small box with a logbook. Geocaching is also a land navigation activity, but done with a GPS (Global Positioning System) device. In the satellite images below, the circle on the north marks the meeting location for the orienteering event. The oval on the south and the green arrow, marks the location of the geocache.
Info on the geocache: N 41° 51.543 E 012° 31.484
