Virginia Kendal Ledges - Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Orienteering map prepared by the North East Ohio Orienteering Club. In an orienteering event, white and orange flags ("controls") are positioned ahead of time in specific locations, and participants, using this map with cicled locations, must locate these flags and punch a control card with a paper puncher that leaves a distinctive hole punch that proves the participant has found the control. The rock formations, with its narrow passages and hideouts presents a terrain that can be challening to the expert orienteerer.
